Meet Phil Jung… a luthier who has been building, customizing, and repairing all types of stringed instruments since 1995. After apprenticing under renowned luthier Patrick Serna, Phil was hired by four of the San Francisco Bay Area’s largest music stores as their instrument tech/repair man. During his time as an instrument tech, Phil rubbed shoulders with some of the greatest builders and pros in the music industry, learning the finest techniques and tricks to making instruments preform flawlessly and sound amazing. Phil has built a reputation for even making inexpensive off-shore guitars and basses play, sound, and feel as good as their American made counter parts.
